So, I had implanon taken out on October 1st, and had 2 day withdrawal bleed the day after. November 3rd I got my period, so I guess my cycles are 32 days? and on november 2nd I had cramps and tinted discharge but on the third I had bright red blood that morning..so wouldn't the 3rd be cycle day 1? and is it bad that my period went away today?

Anyways, when should I expect to ovulate? and do you think its likely to conceive this month? Thanks so much!

Hey there and !!!!!!

It can take a few cycles to even everything out. At least for me I varied the first few months! Ovulation can take place at a different time for everyone. Many ladies on here take their BBT (temperature) every day and record on fertility friend. I have found that to be a great way to pinpoint ovulation!

Every cycle is a chance to conceive!! Best of luck to you!!!!!!!

Hi, Its likely that your cycles are still abit wonky from your implanon coming out recently. CD1 is classed as the first day of bright red blood, so yes the 3rd sounds about right for you if you only had spotting the day before.

With regards to when you might ovulate, you could ovulate at any time, it is a misconception that everyone O's on CD14 and it could well be before or well after this point. After coming of brith control and your body adjusting its possible for you to have an annovulatory cycle where you wont O at all, this is quite normal. Are you charting your temperature or using OPKs to help you pinpoint O? This way you would know when best to time BDing.

Oh and if you ovulate, there is always a chance to conceive! just bear in mind it can take a normal healthy couple up to 12 months to conceive so try not to worry if it doesnt happen straight away!

and KUP
