Hi ladies,

I posted here few days ago with an opk test pic which was quite dark and looked as if it may turn positive within 1-3 days. Anyway, its been 4 days and either I missed LH surge or I haven't got it yet or I'm confused! To me it seems 4 opks over 4 days are very similar ....almost positive ! Very very visible but not as strong as control .

Anyone had this happen? Maybe body trying to ovulate ? I hv been getting constant 'twinging' from about CD8/9 and tdy is CD13!

Confused !

I've had this happen before. I've had as many as 6 days of "dark-but-not-positive" OPKs before finally getting a positive. Of course, the other side is that you either missed your surge (when did you start testing?) or you aren't going to O at all this cycle.

I would keep testing to see what the lines do!

Hi, as Karin said its more than possible that your body is still trying to O, as your on CD13 is still pretty early on - some people, myself included, sometimes dont O until CD19 or even much later than that.

I'd say keep testing with the OPk's. Have you noticed any changes to your CM (cervical mucus), prior to O it will be more wet, slippery or egg white and then after O it will be more creamy. This is also a good way fo knowing what your body is upto!

Thank you ! This mornings opk (CD14) is definitely darker! So I think body started trying to ovulate early on but still hasn't and now again is very close to it. I will put pics up soon of the opks!

Woo hoo! Glad they are getting darker! What you described, happens to most of us. Get to BDing!

Today is CD15 and again I got a very dark opk. They are very dark indeed although if I had to choose I'd say the control is still darker even if just by a little bit. Does this count as positive or near-positive? If line fades then do I assume I missed my surge?! I will post pics

Yep CD15 very close to positive, if i had one looking like that, it'd go positive within a mattter of hours, however your surge seems slower. Keep testing and get some BDing in!

Lol yes We are trying to BD every other day although will try to get in everyday these few days if possible! Don't know if this is related but I had an temp drop this morning ? I did temp an hour early however , past two days was 36.2 & 36.3 & today 36.0 C ! could that been signaling O ?

It could be the difference in timing, but its normal to have a drop and then a jump around O - my cycles do this pretty consistently - if you can see my FF link in my siggie take a look

you catch that eggie!
