We weren't going to, we didn't want to mess with nature.. but obviously Nature's being a royal pain, so we're going to give it one cycle, that's all I figure DH will be home for before returning to work.

I've decided a cd 5-9 varied dose (120mg, 160mg, 160mg, 200mg, 200mg) after doing some research and seeing what everyone was doing. I'm also going to take a page from Brandi's book and buy some geritol. I can't do lemon water.. I just won't be able to choke it down. We discussed the options between taking it earlier, hoping for more eggs and more chances at a bfp, but while we aren't opposed to more than one kiddo, we don't want to take the steps to increase the risks when we suspect the issue might be quality because of my wonky LP.

If soy fails, DH will be taking a Count Booster (his illness can affect counts and quality) while he's working and I will concentrate on losing weight. I'm dropping inches, but still no weight gone. The hope will be by the time his job is over, we'll have made some improvements and will get a bfp over the summer. We hope to get some answers to my LP this spring/summer as well.

I'm definately interested to see how the soy goes hun, I just hope it doesnt mess with you too much!

A varied dose sounds like a good plan from what ive read before, for you and DH that you get your forever sticky BFP!

Hi folks....Sorry if I sound dumb but what do you mean by taking a stab at soy? Is it something in liquid form? pill form? And am I understanding correctly that it will increase the number of eggs possibly?? Something specific from a doctor? Again I apologize for all the questions and being ignorant on this subject? Thanks in advance for the responses.

It's a pill, called Soy Isoflavones. It works similarly to the fertility medication Clomid.

It's not something to be taken lightly, today is our 1 year ttc mark so we're giving it a shot since we can't see a specialist until next year.

It can increase the number of eggs if you choose to try that protocol, I chose using it to try and mature my follies instead.
