Me and dh have been ttc for 7 months after coming off BC. I did not get a period during that time. My gyn put me on metformin to see if it will jump start my period (she never diagnosed me with pcos). In Dec, it finally came. Doctor advised me to continue the metformin in the meantime.

So it didnt happen for us in December so on to the next month.

I believe I ovulated on the 14th of this month (Jan)according to the fertile calander (i did not use opk or temp). For the last two months ive been getting my period exactly 28 days. Me and dh bd on my fertile days. However, this month af was due Jan 28th, i tested using frer, got bfn and still no af. I waitied and tested again today Feb 1, again bfn and still no af.

I do have some symptoms such as splitting headaches, cramping, tired, and more hungry then usual. May be these are all in my head.

But what should I do? Test again, call my doctor, or just wait? Please help!

cycles vary. you can have a dozen 28 day ones, and then suddenly have shorter or longer ones. Stress, illness etc all can play a role in your cycle length.

Fertile calenders are not accurate. opk's, temping, cm and cp, in combinations are really the best way to know what's going on.

Most doctors say as long as AF shows in 40 days it's fine. While ttc a 40 day cycle SUCKS, but they can and do happen. If AF's not here by CD 35, then I'd make an appointment.

I agree with the others, try waiting it out for a while longer, chances are you O'd late this month and thats given you a longer cycle!

Have you tried another EPT? Have you started your period yet?
