I was wondering if someone if was going to mention TAL---another guilty pleasure of mine---- go to your local library for audio books---as for podcasts, I'm afraid I'm in the dark.

Elle, I have subscribed to those two podcasts you mentioned. I am always looking for new ones too!

Since you have a science background I think you would enjoy "The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe" which is generally about science related news items. It has a great cast.

The other podcast that I started listening to is "We Are Libertarians" which is a talk show based out of Indiana I believe. But I think one of the dudes is from Atlanta, GA. I'm a Libertarian so I find the podcast to be interesting. It's not very professional yet. But it can be entertaining. They have several guys of various degrees of libertarian and they can kind of squabble amongst themselves sometimes.

Out of interest, what were the girly films?? I always love a chick flick!
*shame* It came with four. The Notebook. A Walk to Remember. Message in a Bottle. And some other depressing movie. Nights in SomewhereOrOther.

So much cheesey and depressing. I usually don't go this far.

Usually I stop at depressing myself with movies about babies or pregnant people.

yea, haha, I have been guilty of watching those also. and the ones that come on TLC like a baby story, or the one where everyone is having twins or triplets or something, and the one where they don't know they're pregnant until right before they have the kid.

I am definitely going to check out "The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe" - I am pretty sure I will love anything that has a throwback to Hitchhikers Guide in the title. . .

Thanks for all the suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!
