Alright ladies, so I am a little lost and confused here. Most of you know about the week long of positive opks. I broke down and tested this morning and BFN. I will pretty much have no idea of what DPO I am. Someone else told me (rudely) that it goes from the first positive and NOTHING else matters. So that I would probably be 6/7 DPO.

I feel like I am already out again this month. I know it's only my 2nd month TTC but I feel like I just want to throw my hands in the air and say I am done! GGRRR. Trying to stay positive over here. Any thoughts and/or advice would be great. Much appreciated!

I don't know about your OPK story but I do know that 6-7DPO is really early to be testing. Implantation probably hasn't even happened yet let alone have hormones had time to happen. Keep your chin up, you aren't out just yet!!!!!!

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience when you were trying to get answers. Hope you end up getting your BFP when you test again!!!!!

You're probably too early to get a BFP, fx thats the case. You usually ovulate 12-36 hours after your first +OPK, not sure if that helps you narrow down your O day or not but GL, and I would definietely say you're not out yet.

I had two days within those 5 days of positive opks that the line was darker than the control. One on CD 20 and one on CD 22 or 23. I am going to wait to test until (at the earliest) Saturday morning. Thanks ladies. Support is much appreciated right now.

The test is only truely positive when the test line is darker than the control, but it can be a fine line when trying to decipher what is and what isnt

i'm sorry your feeling disheartened, it can be really hard the first couple of months figuring things out. Bear in mind that your cycles wil likely be still sorting themselves out after coming off BC

we're here to help wherever we can, sorry you had trouble with answers elsewhere

Hopefully it was just too early and you still have your BFP coming!!!

Those OPKs can be tricky - I am often confused about when it is a true positive. . .

Sending some extra dust your way!!!!

The trickyness of OPKs is why I have still been hesitant to buy them. I think I am going to go by just charting for this cycle again. I will be watching out for your test on Saturday or whenever you do test again!!!

Your cycle was just weird for opks.. especially with the positive digi's more than once that shouldn't happen.

I'd say go with the flow girlie. At this point, there's not much else to do *hugs*

Yeah, you're just going to have to wait out this cycle. Your opks make no sense! If this keeps happening, I might suggest being evaluated for PCOS, as that could cause multiple positive opks.

OPKS can be very frustrating and difficult to read sometimes because like Jen said it can be a fine line between pos and almost neg. I would count from your first opk if I were you. Good luck!
