Hi ladies, some of you might have seen my posts about keeping busy & distracted whilst we're NTNP. One of the many we've started at home is giving our bedroom a facelift

Here is a rough idea of what it was like to start with when we first moved in in July 2011. the previous owner liked purple, particularly this shade of purple...

So we did this, quick bit of wallpaper but it never grew on me. plus we did NOT do a great job with the wallpaper. never again!

And this is what we've done recently, still a work in progress. I particularly want a new wardrobe, we bought this to 'make do' but its not very pretty. (props to whoever can tell me what film they've seen the print in)

This is the chest of drawers at the end of the bed, it was originally a dark stained wood - paid 30 at the charity shop. I painted it, varnished and then covered the front of the drawers with some wallpaper I found which I liked. ta da! fancy new drawers!

I think that'll do, lots of photos! I cant wait to get it finished, we have new bedding to put on, some fabric to make into throw cushions and I want to hang some pictures/photos to make the walls look less bare. Oh and the new wardrobe I want
