Only through you Reba!!! I have seen more headlines about it now though! It looks like her defense is really painting the boyfriend in a bad picture!

I watch it everyday. She's such a liar. Who goes to another guys house to have sex after killing her ex??? In the phone sex tape the defense played she dominated a lot of that conversation. So it didn't help the defense at all. And she's changed her testimony 4 times so its hard to believe anything she says. I get so angry when I watch it lol.

Its weird to me that you can watch a trial live on TV! we dont have that over here, all the access the public has is via reporters that sit inside the courtroom.

Jen, in some states over here, cameras are allowed in the courtrooms, but in other states, they are not. For example, Pennsylvania doesn't allow them, but Arizona and Florida do. That's why the Casey Anthony trial could be televised (Florida) and now the Jodi Arias one (Arizona) can be. I love watching trials live, so I'm so thrilled that some states do allow for it to happen!!

For those of you who haven't heard of the case, Jodi Arias is accused of shooting her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in the face, stabbing him multiple times, and then slitting his throat on June 4, 2008 in Mesa, Arizona. Her attorneys argue that she killed him in self-defense. The trial began on January 2, and it's still going on. The case is a big deal because if she is convicted, she could face the death penalty.

Sounds to me like shooting him in the face, stabbing him and then slitting his throat isn't self defense, that's overkill!!

I agree! I thought there was some sort of rule about how many "stabs" would be considered self defense.

I sent Travis Alexander's sister a message on Facebook and she wrote back to me!! I am so excited and surprised.

I figured she wouldn't mind if I sent her a message because everything on her Facebook is wide open and she has stuff posted about the trial all over her page. Plus, she must have given a reporter the link to her Facebook in an article she was quoted in, because that's how I found her page in the first place.

I didn't think she would actually write back, though!!

I just sent her a message that said I was sorry about what happened to her brother and that I think she is very brave to sit in court every day for so many weeks and listen to all the testimony and that she must be a very strong person. She wrote back thanking me for my thoughts and prayers. I thought that was sweet.

Wow! That is way cool that she replied! And very sweet of you to send her a thoughtful note like that.
