Guess what??? AF has finally showed up! I'm so excited!!! I really thought it was never going to come back after I went off the BCP. It seemed like it took forever, but I guess it was really only 2 months. It's funny how time seems to go so slowly when you are TTC. Anyway, I feel a bit better now because I feel like I know what is going on with my body now. I have never in my life been this excited to get AF.

P.S. - Please remind me of how excited I am now if I get terrible cramps later and am crying.

Thank you so much, everyone!!! I went to the gym and did an hour on the treadmill and I feel great, so I'm hoping I won't get any cramps.

I don't remember what it is like to get a real period because I often skipped the placebo week on my BCP so I wouldn't get one.

I went to Rite Aid and bought 80 tampons and 48 pads. So I'm prepared!

I am telling you ladies that my cramps just haven't been as bad as they were when I was a teenager. I wonder if you just get kind of get used to them as you get older?

Yay!! Hopefully it won't be too bad. When I got off of the pill, I started ahving really bad AF visits. This may be TMI but I recently discovered if I use pads as often as possible instead of tampons.... especially at night... everything seems to come out a lot faster, it's over sooner, and I have lot less cramping and discomfort. I did not find that I O'd any sooner though, which I was hoping for. I would highly recommend trying it if you are a normal tampon user. I went from it lasting 9 or 10 days to only 6 or 7 days. When I decided to try this, I was surprised to realize I couldn't find the pads I used to like 10 years ago, guess they stopped making them after I switched...
