I have learned what the inside and outside of the vagina/cervix look like. All of that really was a big mystery to me before. So seeing some diagrams and feeling how things are put together in my own body has been pretty cool. It has been valuable to me because I feel more confident in knowing how my body is put together and what each part does.

I have to agree with Caitlin.

Also, Knowing 'everything' is one thing but knowing 'everything' as it applies to your body is another!............ does that make sense???

I agree with you ladies. Knowing your body and how everything is interrelated is really important. I think that temping and learning when I O is also really important, as I learned that I have a LP defect.

I agree with all of you ladies the knowledge I have gained about temping and body signs has been so valuable and using fertility friend has been an amazing resource.

I think the most valuable thing I have learned about TTCing is that it is not easy for everyone. Having joined this board and seeing all the different women's struggles and successes I feel has opened my eyes to a different view on the world.

All of the information I've learned has been very valuable, but I think that the best thing for me has been all the genuine friends I've made during the TTC process.

CD 14 means nothing, it's just another day of the cycle. That was a big one for me and I still want to beat my head off the wall every time I hear someone reference they're "regular" 28 day people and always have sex on cd 14 and nothing happens.....

Hahaha, Oing has got to be one of the most important things I could have ever learned about TTC. I just thought oh well we will just have sex for a little while and we will get pregnant...NOT SO EASY!!! Silly me..

I have also learned that the power of support (especially JM) can be an amazing and beautiful thing!

Good question! Probably just figuring out how my body works and when I O. Temping, OPKs, some of the cost saving things I found out about through this board like the IC OPKs and HPTs! Up until the last few months, I didn't know when I was actually ovulating, but thanks to those methods and getting to know my body a little bit more, I have found out I wasn't even in the ballpark based on the traditional calendar, and I was poppin' eggs out a full week later than the traditional "day 14" prediction.

Hopefully this information (and maybe some good drugs? ) will help us get knocked up at last!

I have learned patience and the importance of a good support system. Without them TTC would have been a lot harder than it is.
