for everyone else. Nicholle asked me if my sex in a pan recipe was like better than sex cake. I had no idea what hers was, so I'm sharing what mine is!

That recipe sounds awesome, but it is not the same recipe as "Better than sex cake".

Better than sex cake:

1 package/box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients the package states to make said cake)

1-2 tubs of cool whip

6 heath bars, crushed

1 bottle of caramel syrup

Instructions: Bake cake as directed by cake mix box. When the cake is finished remove from the oven and put slits in the top of the cake. Do this while the cake is hot, do not wait for it to cool. Then pour caramel sauce over the cake. Allow the cake to cool. It's easier to leave the cake in the pan (I know this doesn't look pretty, but it's less messy this way ). Add 5 out of the 6 crushed Heath bars to the top of the cake. Then add as much cool whip as you like to the cake (I add 1 1/2 tubs of cool whip). Sprinkle the remaining crushed heath bar on the top of the cake.

If you are PMSing or seriously craving sweets, this is your cake. Beware, it is a super sweet cake!!!

Yum!

The problem is I'm the only one who eats sweets here... I'd have to eat the whole thing!

Or L... hmm... she'd eat it with me.

You don't know cool whip and Heath bars?

Cool whip is frozen whipped cream in a plastic tub and Heath bars are crunchy toffee covered in chocolate.

Dream whip in the baking isle would be the closest thing you guys have to Cool Whip Jen. You mix it with milk and it makes a whipped cream that holds and doesn't turn watery. Just add a little powdered sugar (icing sugar, confectioners sugar... what ever ya'll call it) and some vanilla and it's identical to cool whip. I don't know how many packs you'd need... 2 envelopes for sure, maybe 4.

Does the UK have the Skor bar? cause that's the direct comparison from Canada to the US (Canada doesn't have Heath either). Crunchie is sponge candy... so not quite the same. But pretty much any piece of English Toffee that's pretty thin (1/2 cm or so) covered in chocolate would be the same as a Heath. lol

Life without Heath bars sound sad... Jen, we need to send you one!!!

And Ashley, while Skor IS the direct comparison, Heath is SO. MUCH. BETTER!!!
It happens to be DH's favorite candy bar... and I'm pretty partial to it myself.
