I just need to vent:I really didn't pin myself as one to get so discouraged with the whole TTC process so quickly. I have been temping and keeping an eye on my CM but with it being my first cycle off bc my body is all over the place. I'm now on cycle day 35 and no af, and a BFN this morning. I really don't think I have O'ed or am going to this cycle. I'm just ready for the dang witch to get here and start next cycle. I think I'm going to buy a new BBT thermometer as I'm convinced there is something wrong with the one I bought. It takes FOREVER, atleast a minute and a half, to register my temps. I also am planning to OPK this next cycle. Thanks for reading my vent session. I feel a little better now.

As someone who has had ONLY two endless cycles after coming off of the pill in December I can so relate, especially since I had it in my head that everything would just go back to normal working order.

It's okay to feel down. It's going to seem weird but you will be excited when you finally get your period. Hang in there!

I didn't think I would either... I'm hoping that at some point it gets a little easier???

Vent whenever you need to! We're here to listen and support.

Sending positive thoughts that you settle into a normal-for-you cycle!

Thanks ladies. I think alot of this has to do with the fact that I also foolishly thought things would just go right back to normal and I would ovulate regularly and hoped to get pregnant in the first cycle. Thank goodness I have you all and very supportive DH.

A lot of us think that we'll get pregnant right away after coming off bcp and ttcing. I thought that I would be pregnant within 3 months, 6 months at the most. Well, I have been trying since August 2011 and nothing....so it's taking a bit longer than we had hoped.

Just remember, it takes awhile for your body to regulate itself, especially if you are coming off of bcp. Hopefully AF will show soon and maybe next cycle you will ovulate. GL and KUP!

Oh and don't feel badly about ranting, that's what we are here for!

I am right there with you - I thought I would be ready to go right after I stopped BC and it took me almost 6 months. I will keep my Fx for you that it wont take long but try not to get discouraged. Regulating after coming off BCP takes some time for everyone. And like the other ladies said - vent any time you need!!!!! We are here for you

We are all here for you! It can be a very frustrating time. I was not on BC and I thought well we should get pregnant the first time around!.....NOT!! It can be so easy to get wrapped up very quickly in TTC. Vent away!
