ok so I had to take my mom back to the doctor today, and I told my DH how I joked to the nurse about giving her a pregnancy test and so DH said we'd have to hand her over to science....I said yea one ovary, no uterus... so she made a comment about yes I was 34 when I had my hysterectomy.... I knew she was still young when she did but I stopped dead and was like HOLY SMOKE I'M 34 now!!!!! What a reality check...you know my mom was my age when it was all over for her...child bearing I mean...and here I am just trying to start it... I mean so far I don't have the problems she had but still it made me kind of ..well.... think....

That would hit me hard as well, as I'm 33. Hopefully you'll have no issues and you'll get your BFP very soon!

That's a heavy burden. Thank goodness for all of the medical advances that have happened since our mothers' time.

Thanks all......... I can't say that anywhere else cause I will get so many of 'well you always said you didn't want kids', and 'your fault you waited'......oh well you don't know the half of the comments I am preparing myself for if/when the pregnancy happens........... a good thing even though at that time I was adamant about not wanting kids I used to end it with I reserve the right to change my mind anytime I want........But I'm pretty outspoken if someone speaks down to me or my DH so they better think twice ......... HAHA!

OH well, I'm feeling positive about this month so we'll see...............thanks ladies...I've been so stressed with a few things community wise and work wise and it was nice to see all of your comments after a looooooooong day!

Why do people have to be like that? They want to gloat and say "I told ya so" instead of being supportive. I hope you get your BFP soon, and I am sure that was a startling realization, but we're all on your side.

Glad you are feeling optimistic about this month, keep those positive vibes going!

Totally get how you feel. I always knew I wanted to have a child, but I waited until 31 to start trying, and now I'm 33....I'm always hesitant when discussing ttc with people, because some are so judgmental.

Thanks ladies for all the support. I've been called selfish a number of times in the past for saying I didn't want children... So I know I'll get a lot of direct questions about my decision and comments too..........although there will be a lot of people who will be happy for us I'll concentrate on those people

People are so stupid sometimes. Can't people have the right to change their own mind/opinions?

Don't listen to the nay-sayers! Just come to us for your support and love and well wishes!!!

Better I didn't want and changed my mind to now want kids, than those people I know who wanted kids and now the kids are here they are not wanted and neglected!
