Happy Friday, everyone!

I'm getting my hair highlighted today and I may get a couple of pink streaks in it. As for the rest of the weekend, I'll just be playing with my new stove and fridge and helping DH with his final project for his graduate program.

Like last week and weekend, I had a really busy week this week, so I'm hoping to have a really low key weekend, i.e. do some house work and then lay on the couch with DH and watch movies. However, I may go to happy hour tonight with friends. If I do, that will make it the 3rd time this week, so we'll see how I feel.

I have some friends coming over this weekend with their twin 2 year olds. I am also waiting for AF to show up. I started spotting on Wednesday and then nothing by Wednesday night. This has never happened. I tested last night, which was clearly negative. So now the waiting game. DH and I BD last night to try to get her to show up today . Still waiting.

Probably getting started on some yard work projects. Gardening seems like a lot of work for a few vegetables, though, ya know?

Waiting to find out if I have to work OT this weekend or not... Bleh..... I just want to sleep...

I just got 3 little pink streaks. I wasn't sure what they were going to look like, so I figured I'd just do little ones to start. I like them. They are pretty dark right now, but my hairstylist said they would fade out and become a lighter, softer pink. They're semi-permanent, so they only last for a few weeks.

Reba -- I think we need pics of the pink!!!

I think we're going to finally set up the chicken coop. The babies are still too young to spend all day/night in it, but we're ready to get it set up and start introducing them to their forever home. They are quickly outgrowing their box!

We'll also start prep work for our garden. The in-laws are coming down in 2 weekends to help us plant. So we'll pick our spot and maybe start turning the dirt.

Also, it's baseball season, so I'm sure we'll watch all the Cubs games we can (we've got one on now... and we're losing horribly. The beer eases the pain. )

Reba, pictures are in order!

No fair you guys. The weather is beautiful but the craziness that is finals is approaching.

I teach RPM, then do a little homework, then answer questions on a panel about getting into grad school, then do more homework. Sunday is a homework day, too. Pray for me.

Sounds like your all having wonderful weather! So so jealous...today is better here but still pretty cold

we've been to meet with a florist and venue decorators this morning, well went and we got a better idea of what we'll be having for the wedding plus cost! I will update more later in my journal. I am however, poorly sick, I feel awful
