I got AF today, so I think I have finally determined how long my cycles are since I went off the BCP since this is my second natural visit from AF. So I think my cycle is 32 days? Is that anywhere near the realm of normal?

At any rate, I guess this is CD 1 for me, and I'm starting again! I'm not discouraged yet. But I am having some minor cramps. I'm heading to the gym to work them off.

I am typically 30-34 days myself. I miss the days of being on the BCP and KNOWING when AF would be around.

I don't think it's abnormal to have a 32 day cycle, although I have read that women coming off of BCP may have varying cycles...i.e. your next one may only be 31 days, then 30. I can't find my source for that, but I just read about it.

I've been on BC for like, 11 years (not straight), so I've gotten really spoiled by lighter periods and knowing when it was coming/going.

Having to always have pads/tampons just in case?! Weird to do again, like I'm in high school!

Yep, 32 is totally normal. Anywhere between 28-35 is considered "normal". However, we all have cycles that are shorter or longer than others.

Yay for figuring out your cycle!

I would kill for a 32 day cycle. Sounds lovely! Are you tracking cm? Have you noticed any EWCM yet?

I had a great workout today at the gym. I had so much energy. So I'm feeling pretty good right now. Cramps are gone!

So far so good with the flow. Not too heavy, not too light. I'm just going to keep moving and hopefully I won't get any more cramps.

32 is completely in the realm of normal. I typically have a 34 day cycle. Yay that the cramps went away!

I think I will do the OPK thing this cycle starting on CD 10, like Caitlin suggested. I feel like I would know more about what's going on that way. This month I didn't keep track of anything, and while the suspense was interesting, I was completely in the dark.

Good idea, Reba! KUP!

And trust me, I still found it suspenseful doing OPK's!

I love taking the OPKs. It's like a little science experiment every day.

CD10 sounds good to me, just keep an eye on your CM too though and if you get watery CM before then you might want to start testing earlier!

Yay! My cycles are between 30 and 35 days. Totally normal. Cramps come and go each cycle for me, so I could go for 2 cycles with no cramps and then I could go 4 months with AF cramps.....sometimes being a girl sucks :/
