Woop woop everyone is doing great! Well done ladies!

Jess thats great that you have a friend that can help with that, you'll have to let us know how it goes.

Oh and about the late night sweet snacking - i have a few go to options:
Cuties
Sugar free jelly
small snack size chocolate bar - i tend to buy milky ways
For when the weather is nicer, I have some fruit sorbet which is pretty low fat

If anyone else has any i'd love to hear them too!

Good job ladies! I've lost some of the weight that I gained on my Cleveland trip. Gained 4.5 lbs in one week, lost 3.5 lbs in one week. I still want to lose at least 3 lbs by May 10th. It will be a stretch, but I'm going to try!

Nichole you can DEFINITELY do it!

DH and I have been working very hard at replacing one carb with an additional veggie. I.e., if we have turkey tacos, instead of having rice and peas as a side, I'll swap out the rice for another veggie.

Of course DH, like most men, lose weight crazy fast when any diet changes are made. But it's made a difference for me, too.

*bump*

I was 225.6lbs when I weighed in this morning (I'm doing dailyweighs, but I don't consider a daily gain or loss to be much, I go by every two weeks (and today happened to be my 2 week mark).

that's 6.8 lbs total loss in almost exactly 30 days. . 1.7lbs per week since my OB appointment. It's not the 2.5lbs/wk I'd like, but being sick for so long put a wrench in my plans. The good part is that sickness is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I'll get back in the pool sometime this weekend

Thats awesome Ashley!!!!

Water: Still keeping up with the 74 ounces a day. . . seriously thanks so much Ashley for the water bottle suggestion. I love it so much I carry it everywhere and DH bought one too and does the same. Game changer!

Eating healthy: Still doing really well here. I could still stand to up my veggie intake but only ate out once again this past week for all meals.

Working out: Sad to report I am still failing. . . with trying to get ready for DHs surgery and with all the random other things in life I have not jogged at all since the first day Yes embarrassing I know. . . I have made it out for a few walks here and there but nothing over a mile or so.

Weight Loss:
This week = -0.5 lb
Total = -2.0 lb
Goal = -10 lb

yes and yes... but my thyroid disorder went untreated for quite a while, so my levels were very high. High TSH = low metabolism. Now that I'm back on my medication, I am slowly losing little bits of weight. I've been doing some walking, and will be adding swimming and indoor cardio shortly. I'm also hoping to pick up a kettlebell in a few weeks. I'm also making some changes in my diet. More fruits and veggies, more whole grains, leaner meats.

I'm hoping now that I'm getting more exercise, the weight will come off faster.

How's everyone doing? Anyone need a kick in the pants to get back on track?

I'm down another few lbs.. In fact i'm down 6lbs since AF showed (some of that was AF bloat/water weight as I went up over an lb in the days leading to her arrival)... I saw 221.2 on the scale this morning and am very excited about it.

You have been doing so great Ashley!! The past week was not a great one for me. . . oops. . .

Water: Still keeping up with the 74 ounces a day

Eating healthy: Did ok. . . had Chic-fil-a yesterday and ate a little poorly this past weekend because of the parties we attended. . . but when i ate at home I ate well. . .

Working out: I actually increased here though! I have been going on at least 3 different 20-30 minute walks a day. I did that 5 out of the last 7 days so that is some improvement. Still hoping for more though.

Weight Loss:
This week = 0 lb
Total = -2.0 lb
Goal = -10 lb

Water: not doing as well on this. I've been under a bunch of stress at work and with family, and realize by the end of the day, I barely drank my 32oz cup of water.

Eating healthy: Not doing as well as previous weeks. Again, the stress at work and with family makes me reach for convenience rather than healthy.

Working out: I have not been walking after work lately. I need to step this up. I am the team captain on a corporate health challenge kicking off next week. I need to start leading the way on this.

Weight Loss:
This week = -2 lb
Total = -10.0 lb
Goal = -100 lb

I haven't updated in a while either.

I've been bouncing up and down between 216.6 and 220.4. I was 219 this morning and with AF on her way that's not too shabby. LOL. I did take a break from my workouts and such after I pulled a lil too hard on the ankle.. but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I don't know what I'm going to do when I start visiting DH and having to eat take out 3x a day 3 days a week. I have a feeling I may cook up a bunch of chicken and eat salads for lunch and cereal for breakfast.. I'll use slimfast for milk if I must. LOL

I've started taking a fiber supplement. I despite 60-80 oz of water every day, I'm finding myself feeling bloated and uncomfy because I'm just not having things work properly. Walgreen's has an awesome sale on the clear stuff, I just mix 2 servings into yogurt once a day and you'd never even know it was there

I obviously am no longer meeting my by weekly goals. I'm supposed to see 216 today, and did not. BUT, 2 weeks almost no working out and eating what ever the heck I wanted... and I haven't really gone up persay.

Great idea Elle. Since I had an inkling that the IUI hadnt worked I;ve started being mroe strict with myself again. I could do with loosing 5-6lbs to be mroe confident with where I need my weight to be by the NHS requirements.

Its mostly just my eating, I find it easy to sway into old habits - i.e. eating too big portions and too much sweet stuff. I have a terrible sweet tooth! I've been better this week, apart from having chips at the concert last night but they were yummy and I hoped I burnt off the calories jumping around and dancing.

I weighed yself today and definately bloated due to AF, but its only CD3 so thats to be expected. Its just better by around CD5 - although the Clomid doesnt help much.

I really dont like exercising and just dont have the motivation for it. The only time its ever worked for me was when I was at sixth form and used to go with a friend and her mum. Because they went every week and picked me up I had no excuse not to go. DF works too long hours for us to do something together so I'm in it on my own. hmmm...any suggestions?

I'll join in this thread.......

I'd like to lose about 20 lbs by my wedding. Thats 3 months away. I'm at 185 right now. Yuck. I'm a little irritated with myself b/c two winters ago I PUSHED myself hard and lost about 50 lbs, and I looked SMOKIN HOT all summer. I quit working out, and over the winter I gained a lot of it back.

Ideally, I'd like to weigh about 155-160...but I'd be happy with 165-170. I'm pretty tall, and I dont like stick thin... so I think those are good numbers for me.

Its amazing how weight looks so different on body types too.

So far............I'm drinking a ton of water, trying to eat veggies & fruits for snacks and healthier meals. And working out, a tiny bit. need to work on that part more.

Jen, can you get some DVD videos at home that you can do while you're by yourself? Something fun, like dancing or whatever? Maybe take a few out of the library to try and see if there's one that you like enough to buy?

I've been trying to see if I can go close to gluten free - not quite, but a lot less gluten, so that's something. I'm definitely less bloated. Haven't been exercising much, but hopefully that will change soon!

Glad to see this thread updated!!

I stared my ketones up again the other day, and immediately dropped 2lbs while I'm PMSing.. I usually GAIN 5lbs prior to AF not lose 2!

Im' trying to be super positive in that, I only ave 4 weeks left to lose weight, because after that I'm going to be baking a baby, so I need to lose what I can before then since I will have to stop the ketones while pregnant (everything else I take is pregnancy related).

So I'm 217 as of this morning. I won't complain. I just need to make sure while I'm down visiting DH I take advantage of the pool in his hotel room, and try and do some walking to balance out the crap I will end up eating.

EDIT: (TMI, you've been warned).

I was wrong, the fiber supplement I've been stirring into my yogurt finally did what I wanted. 216.2lbs, lowest I've seen yet I think
