So where do I stand if I have no IC hpts left, can I use an OPK? At what stage would it show anything? If at all?

When I still had HCG in my system at 180 - I had a faint positive HPT and an almost positive OPK (and I was not actually near ovulation at all). So I would think that it would not likely work before 10 or 11 DPO.

Not sure how that all actually scales but I think it could be something like that. Obviously an HPT is better. . . when would you start testing? I am getting excited!!!!

I thought I had a pic comparison of the HPT and the OPK side by side but all I can find is the OPK pic. . .

Hope this helps at least a little!!!

10 days before Ovulation, HCG at 180

I think someone once before said they had used opk's with their cheapies through several losses, but they never started showing dark lines until 15-17dpo. Whch would make sense

but come on hpts. I have the opposite problem... I'm out of opks.. and starting to surge. LOL

When I got my lines on HPTs last month, my OPKs were mostly positive and the test line was always super dark. That is just my experience with them.

"Wait to wee." Can that be this board's slogan? The Wait to Wee Club: Locked and loaded since 2013.
