Focus on the bottom 3 tests. (Very first from the pack was taken Thursday at 1:04am)

11am, 6:30pm, 10pm.

I really like these opks. Easy to use and read. Too bad they HAVE to be used within 30 days of opening the jar, and cost $20 for 20. I think I'd happily pay the $1 each if they came individually wrapped.

Thanks for sharing Ashley! Does this still mean you will O within 12 hours of the positive?

The general rule is 24-48 hours after an opk you will O. However on more than one cycle I've gotten a positive opk in the wee hours of the morning and actually suspected I've O'd within the following 12 hours. I do nothing on the "normal" scale.

Glad you shared. This is my first month of using OPKs. Next cycle will be our first cycle TTC. I am getting more and more unsure of how often to test the more days that go by.

I started on Thursday, CD 13, and got a negative. Then I thought "wait a little bit before testing; CD 13 is too early". I tested on Saturday, CD 15, and negative. Tested on Sunday: negative. Tested on Monday, CD 17, and negative.

My cycles are about 30-33 days, and I think my LP is 13-14 days. I haven't had any ovulation pains. I am just starting to feel like using OPKs is stressing me out. Is there a timeline for taking them?

Saturday I tested at 10:04am and it seemed darker, like I was getting closer to O. Then 12am on Sunday I tested and it was lighter. Then I tested at 2pm and 6pm yesterday. Still lighter.

Am I doing this right?

It is better u test at the same time every day from CD11 depending on your cycle. It is also a good idea if u can test every 12 hrs because u actually need the time of the first LH surge and you will ovulate about 24 after the first LH surge.

All the best.

I post about my confusion and now I think I am about to O. I got a much darker test this morning. Not quite there, but I think later today or tomorrow for sure. I guess I was just second guessing myself, worrying I missed something.

I test 2x a day until my cm shifts. Then 3x then every pee. I don't have a choice though since my surge is so short.

Never use first urine.

Afternoon or evening is better.

Buy cheapies until you have an ovulation pattern. Test at will.

I have to go off body cues to know when to star opking. I can surge on Cd 11-14 or I can surge 15-17... that ends up being a lot of tests. Lol

I have started testing as soon as AF (the red bleeding) is gone. Last month I must have Oed at like CD 8-13 because I missed my surge and when I finally got my "positive" it was because i was pregnant. (CP though) Like Ashley, my body refuses to cooperate and do things "normally"
