I think I was a little late on seeing it, but This is 40 was SO funny. Loved it.

Doesn't seem like there's been a lot of other good movies out... so maybe this post will help me find some for hubby and I to watch next weekend!

I saw "The Great Gatsby" on Friday and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Acting, costumes, scenery...just wow.

Of course I'm biased b/c its my favorite novel/story of all time, but it truly was beautiful.

Ok so I have an obsession with the vampire diaries, their season finale is this Thursday I think. I'm wanting to watch "the great gatsby" I'm glad to know it was as great as I was hoping!

Beth - I'm a vampire diaries fan too but i've only seen the first two series & have some catching up to do!

I have a list at the moment for movies I want to see at the cinema - the great gatsby is on it, Iron Man 3 (perving over robert downey jr) and the new star trek film. I just have to find the time for me and DF to fit them in!

Movie to avoid....What to expect when your expecting. Shock Horror. Why I even subjected myself to it I'll never know. Within the first 5 mins of the film the couple who have been TTC for 2 years, decide to stop trying, the woman gets drunk and *bam* they're pregnant. It had me in tears a couple of times. DF asked me why I was torturing myself and why didnt I turn it off. My response "I wana see the end" I'm an idiot!

tv - nothing too new, I'm still loving 'nashville' a show on More4. It star hayden paniterrie (?sp) and Connie Britton. I think its made by abc. I love it!

I want to see the great gatsby so bad! I am on season 4 of the vampire diaries and I am LOVING it!! The movie "End of watch" was absolutely tear jerking! It's a good movie but dang!

I have a huge movie list to see in theaters that are coming out now through this summerl! I really want to see Iron Man 3, The Great Gatsby, New Star Trek, The Internship, This is the End. . . I think there are even more but I can't remember. I havent seen any of them.

TV shows I am loving right now are Revenge, Scandal, and Vampire Diaries. I watch several others but those are the ones I have to watch as soon as I can

I am having a hard time thinking of the really bad ones right now. . .

I recently watched Skyfall with my friend Tyler, and I didn't think it was anything to write home about. I don't really like action movies much, though.

As for good movies, I love Mini's First Time. They play it sometimes on the Lifetime Movie Network. I bought it off eBay because I love it so much. It's kind of a weird, deviant movie, though, so I'm not sure that everyone would like it. *lol*

I'm a Vampire Diaries lover too!

And Grey's Anatomy of course.

I am dreading watching the season finales. They always leave you with a huge cliff-hanger and nothing to look forward to on Thursday evenings all summer!

DH & I watched "Beasts of the Southern Wild" last night -- wow. It's such a good movie. (We don't go to the movies a lot, we normally wait til they are out on DVD and then rent them... so we're behind.)

Lincoln is phenomenal. So is Life of Pi.

TV Comedies: The Office is ENDING on Thursday. We also LOVE Modern Family and Community. And we're getting caught up on Big Bang Theory.

We're also SUPER excited to Arrested Development season 4 coming out on Netflix at the end of the month!!!!

TV Dramas: Revenge, Once Upon a Time (ehh... I watch it to see what will happen, but I'm not sold on it being that great), Criminal Minds, The Americans, GREY'S!

Reality/Informative TV: So You Think You Can Dance starts this week... WHEEEEEE!!!!! We also watch Shark Tank, Brain Games, How the States Got Their Shapes, and Chopped.

It sounds like we watch a TON of TV... but we have such a backlog on the DVR right now. We just save things up for summer time when we're home!

We are sooo excited about the new season of Arrested Development too!!!!!!!!! We watched the trailer at lunch. I am so excited they got all the characters back!!!!!

We do the same thing - just DVR everything and then catch up whenever we have some time on our hands.

Some of my shows (like Greys and Scandal) I watch while I am doing dishes or cooking. Basically any show I love but DH is not a huge fan of.

I'm a TVD fan myself, I picked up the 3rd season on Blu Ray on Friday.

We also watch Big Bang Theory, Grimm, Once Upon a Time (yes my hubby watches ALL these shows and gets as excited, or more excited than me).

I'm seeing Iron man on the weekend, quite excited for this.

Other than that, I have Hulu so I've been watching shows from my childhood like Sabrina the teenage witch and Picket Fences (which ironically was set in Wisconsin, and SWORE that I'd live in the same place when I grew up... Rome Wi is about 2 hrs away.. I got close!)

DH and I love watching How I Met Your Mother! It's so funny! We usually watch an episode every night before bed.

Other than that, not too much in tv holds my interest, and I don't have the attention span for movies! LOL.
