So what kind would this be?

When checking CP, finger inserted comes out sort of wet (maybe creamy? i dont know?) with little globs of white in it. Like it almost looks like little pieces of toilet paper, only in glob form. It's not really sticky though -- more "suspended" in the CM.

On top of that, my CM has done weird changes over the past few days. Tues it was that yellow, stringy CM; Wed it started out with giant blobs of lotion or mucus-like CM, then went to what I described above in the evening.

I feel like there needs to be another CM classification on FF called "It's there but I don't ****** know what it is" or "the incredible morphing CM"

Gosh I wish I could be more help. I've never experienced my CM to change much besides getting a blob of it every now & then.

My CM does that too. They need a "stringy/creamy/globy" check off lol!

I haven't studied mine much. I saw some of what I thought was CM one time, but it could have also been semen. I tried smelling it, but I couldn't come to any scientific conclusion, and my DH declined to assist me in the sniff test.

I have been so confused by this before too! I think that is sticky and creamy in one. At least that's what I decided for my sanity so in this case I record creamy since it is the "highest level" of the day.

Yeah Ive been just recording it as creamy. It's just bizarre and all over the place. It was straight up sticky just now. and Im pretty crampy.

Now I can definitely tell when it's semen (smell-wise I mean).

oh and Julie I thought I was 15 DPO, but no AF yet and neg tests. This is my first cycle post-IUD though.

*and here comes Ashley with pictures* hee hee

It sounds like you're in what I dubbed transition. I get exactly what you're describing (and am having it now) where you're moving between creamy and ewcm. Now this can happen at 4x in your cycles.

Immediately post AF
Prior to O

I call the one prior to AF Booger Mucus... because really.. that's what it looks like. LOL.

Depending on how slippery it is (put it between thumb and another finger.. rub...) I might mark it as creamy (not slippery, more like a thick lotion) or ewcm (very slippery).

BOOGER mucus! Very descriptive, Ashley.

No judgement here bc I get blobs. Not sure what I would call it. Keep us posted.
