Hi ladies,

We've all tried various things to aide in our ttcing, so I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone has done.

I'll start:

Taking (still take) 200mg of b6 with b complex vitamins to increase LP
Started pre-natal vitamin prior to ttcing
Preseed
Pineapple core (to aide in implantation)
Lemon water (to calm uterus)
Eating carrots to increase CM
Using opks
temping
Constantly checking CM and CP
Varied BD, sometimes daily, sometimes more than once a day, now as recommended by reproductive urologist, every other day
Laying down for 20 minutes after BD
Clomid
Progesterone
HCG shot
IUI
IVF
Lap sx

I think that's it. What have you tried?

Well we are just now actually getting back to TTC but here is what we used to do and what we plan to do this cycle forward:

- Taking Basal Temperature
- Checking CM & CP (and recording)
- OPKs
- Tracking all symptoms
- PUTB post BDing at least 20 mins
- BDing at least every other day for 2 weeks around O time
- Eating baby carrots to up CM

Other general attempts to be healthy for TTC

- Increasing activity, mostly walking - working to get DH and I both to our ideal weights (we are almost there now)
- Eating healthy - green smoothies, more fruits and veggies, and aiming for an overall healthy diet (less processed foods more cooking at home)
- Taking the prenatal vitamins every day
- Drink less alcohol and none from O through AF (DH drinks less too)
- Limit all caffeine to one small cup of coffee a day (working to cut it out but I love it so much. . . )

Wow that's quite a list!

I just started mixing things up a bit...I used maca this winter, with success, to help balance my hormones and lengthen my luteal phase. Took a break from most things TTC (other than baby dancing lol) when we moved in February/March.

So now, I'm
-back on maca powder
-b6 and b complex vitamins
-pre-natals (started those while we were NTNP over a year ago)
-really cleaning up my diet and going paleo, making sure to eat more calories and carbs (from healthy, paleo friendly sources)
-cut out coffee (this was hard but I did it!!)
-lots of walking
-charting/temping again
-making more time to relax and de-stress
-just started seeing a chiropractor

Hubby recently had a SA done, came back normal. I am booked in for a laprascopy in July for possible endo, as well as a HSG.

Good thread Nicholle!

I'll try and remember everything:

Folic Acid
Prenatal
OPKs
EPO from CD1 to O
RRL from CD1 to O
Vitamin D
Lemon Water
Pineapple core
Preseed
Checking CM and CP (CP less so)
BDing at varied times - every day, sperm meets egg plan, every other day
Laying down for 30mins post BDing & no peeing for as long as possible
Charting my BBT
HSG
Lap sx to open closed fallopian tube
Acupuncture
Clomid
Loosing weight - 30lbs so far
Cutting down alcohol - i very rarely have anything to drink these days

And for DF
Pycnogonel (?sp) supplements
Cutting down Caffeine & Alcohol
Drinking more water
Not using heated seats in the car
Loose fitting underwear

I think I'm maybe still missing a couple, i'll add them if i remember!

Prenatal
Vitamin D
Lemon Water (in hot water once a day)
Temping
BDing every other day
Almost no caffeine (I was not a big caffeine person anyway)
Had an HSG, DH had an SA
Acupuncture

Done and stopped:
Red Raspberry Leaf
Evening Primrose Oil

Things I'm working on:
Possibly going back to EPO & RRL
Reducing wheat & dairy in my diet, per Making Babies book
Other dietary changes per Making Babies book
Being more active (more blood flow)
Thinking about other supplements as well - royal jelly in particular

Prenatals
BBT Charting
Pads instead of Tampies to get AF over faster
OPKs
B100 Complex Vitamins for LP
Clomid
Pineapple Core
Pre-Seed
Exercising/Trying to lose weight
Every other day BD from end of AF until a week after Pos OPK (I usually O late so it's a lot of BDing, lol)
Laying down after BD, usually I just got to sleep
DH had S/A with very good results
No alcohol from O to AF

DH is on a pretty strict Paleo diet, it certainly hasn't hurt his fertility (virility, lol sorry). He really wants me to be Paleo with him. I am working on it, but I slip up whenever I am out with my friends and I know that if you "cheat" a lot you get almost no benefits from being Paleo part time. Darn you corn and gluten!

And I probably missed a couple, but those are the main ones. Y'all gave me a couple good ideas. Thanks!!

I'm not entirely sure - it was recommended by Making Babies for one of my types (stuck), and I think it helps me feel better. Not sure if that's accurate or placebo, but...yeah.
