Hi we have been trying since 08/2012 let me say I've seen some dry fertile and ovulation times but this one is different. I went on the nuva ring back in Dec 2012 and came off Feb 2013 just to regulate my hormones and my periods have been normal to say the least. This month I had a 31 day cycle which is normal for me as of March and ovulation the same normal ewcm. This month I had the normal ewcm for about 4 days until the day before ovulation when I got some stuff I've never seen before it was gooey like jelly and it came out in huge globs and very stretchy and clear. I thought at first this was strange till a friend confirmed its the healthiest ewcm you can get because it's full of sugars and protiens. So with that being said I had BD with hubby that same night. The next day at work more came out and that same night it dried up and has been dry since that day. I'm now 5 dpo with mild cramps and slight heart burn to boot. I'm not looking to hear your pregnant or anything but I'm looking to see if this happened to any of you and two weeks later found out you were preggers? I've never had this sort of ewcm it's always just wet thin and clear so I'm just thinking that there's a better chance since this was an abnormal ovulation even after etc for months? Thanks ladies

Hi, I'm Jen one of the co-hosts of the board.

It sounds like what you've been having before this cycle was watery rather than EWCM from how you described it. EWCM is exactly what you said you had this cycle, jelly like and clear.

5dpo is probably too early for any pg symptoms as implantation generally doesn't happen until after 7dpo. It means that you still have a good chance though! Gl!

to Jen. EWCM is a very good sign! A lot of us have not been pregnant before, you may want to check with the ttc board. GL and KUP!!!

the other ladies - sounds like before you had watery CM and now you are having EWCM which is great! It is too early for any pregnancy a signs at 5 DPO but it is so hard not to analyze everything! Best of luck to you!!
