Ashley, I'm sorry that your doctor didn't up your dose more... Hopefully the 75 will help SOME.

CONGRATS on meeting your goal! And I'm proud of you for working out today even though you didn't really want to!!! You're doing great!

Still haven't done it... but I will. I promise! I just need to get changed and turn on the wii

Oh.. and put food in my stomach. I'm starving. LOL

edit:

I managed 10 minutes and i'm in so much pain I took 2 aleve. The game seems to think that I'm progressing at a major pace with fitness... and it's only the 4th workout. There is no modify or skip either.. and if it doesn't like your form.. it could make you do it over and over. It must have made me do 20 split squats that had me yelling out with each one because it refused to accept I was doing it.

So there goes that plan.. I'll do #'s 1, 2 and 3 from now on. Even #2 might be pushing it.. those **** squats were in there too

I'm sorry about the bad news. I can understand the logic behind your doctor wanting to gradually increase your dose on the one hand, but on the other hand you know what worked for you in the past... it seems like so many doctors have this "patients shouldn't try to think too much or make suggestions" mentality. Very frustrating. Hoping the higher dose gets you closer to where you need to be.

Sounds like the Wii workouts are really pushing you. I hope the workouts are at least a little bit fun.

I prefer the walks with Lora (DH's exwife) and Reme.. but since she works full time we can usually only get one in a week. I think we're going to try and up them when they come back from Vacation. They aren't as good of a workout though.

I didn't do anymore today... And I'll take tomorrow off as scheduled, and then alternate days 1 and 2.

Squats hurt my knees and my back so bad!!! But the wii workouts still intrigue me - they judge your form?? That is intense!

Walking is my preferred work out as well - I am wearing a pedometer every day now and my goal is at least 10,000 steps a day which is about 5 miles. I get about 5,000 just from walking to my car and into work and around to do stuff. So I am trying to basically double it to get there. I am actually having a lot of fun with it. . . for now. . .

I wear two sensors. One on my left arm, one on my left leg. It tracks my movement. If I don't drop into the split squat (which is kinda like kneeling down on one knee) far enough, or get up too fast, don't stay long enough... it wont register and makes me do it again. Unfortunately my legs aren't strong enough to do 16 of these, 8 on each side, and hold each one for more than a few seconds. so my form gets bad... and it starts asking me to do more than the original 16. I nearly threw the wiimote at the tv in frustration because there is no skip option.
