There are several songs that remind me of DH but the one that will always stand out the most is Ray Lamontagne - "You Are The Best Thing" This was our first dance song at our wedding because it made us think of each other so much

A couple others that always make me think of DH are:
Colbie Caillat - "Bubbly"
Meiko - "Stuck on You" This is cute if you have never heard it I stumbled upon it a while ago when looking for recipes here is the music video if anyone is interested. Meiko - "Stuck On You" - YouTube
(I still haven't tried the recipe but I really want to)

So, so many songs remind me of DH. Our wedding song was Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours". We had a choreographed dance to the song. Everytime we here the song we start dancing. Too bad we don't remember all of the choreography!

This one is a recent song but I feel like it is "our" song for this time in our lives. Ho Hey by the Lumineers. Love it! We always sing it to each other when it comes on in the car.

Aw cute
There are several for me as well but I think the first one that comes to mind is
"You" by Chris Young. I walked down the aisle to that song. Pretty much our "wedding song" since we didn't dance

The song we danced to at our wedding was by

Thompson Square - Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not

This is going to sound lame but my family walked down the aisle to the song form Breaking Dawn by Christina Perri - A Thousand Years and I walked down to the aisle by another song from Breaking Dawn by Sleeping At Last - Turning Page.
I still cry to this day because of how memorable these are to me...

Look these songs up ladies, i can't promise you won't cry!

Anything by Pink that came before 2011.

Funhouse is a big one... and has a funny and geeky backstory.

Luckiest by Ben Folds - our wedding dance

These songs are from a play list DH made me when we were first dating. He even wrote me a book about why he picked each of them. These are just a few that still stick out to me...
When I'm 64 - The Beatles
Pecan Pie - Jeff Tweedy
You Are My Face - Wilco ... pretty much ALL Wilco
Who Needs Sleep? - Bare Naked Ladies
Crash - Dave Matthews Band

I'll stop there, but seriously, DH & I are now sitting here thinking of all the songs that remind us of each other. It's pretty stinkin' cute. Thanks for starting this thread.

God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you - Rascal Flats.
That song was sang at our wedding almost four years ago. i waited a long time for Jonathan to come along and the road was definitely broken along the way, but everything changed when God brought him into my life. i had almost given up on ever getting married. Now i am hoping He will bring us the family we so want.

LoL... nope, not really. We don't have similar tastes in music at all. We usually have to listen to podcasts on on long car trips because we can't agree on a station or a playlist. I recently discovered that we both like Train, and Lyndsey Stirling. Also for some reason he will listen to Ke$ha with me (but lets be honest, everyone loves Ke$ha)

Our first dance was The Glory of Love (Peter Cetera/The Karate Kid Pt II). I'm not sure why we picked that. I guess it's because it was something we both didn't hate? Hehe.

I can't watch the end of the movie with out crying. Between the song and the slideshow they did... instant tears. DH makes fun of me.

And of course I turned it on (the song, DH has the movie)... *cries*

DH thinks it would make a good vow renewal song. We plan on actually getting married sometime ( we eloped ) and since it'll be a few years down the road this song just fits.

Cute thread!! Lots of songs remind me of DH. I walked down the aisle to "I could not ask for more" by Sarah Evans, and our first dance was "When you say nothing at all" by Alison Krause <3

Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not.... That was out when we first started dating! Love it.

Our song is Little Yellow Blanket by Dean Brody

DH is a farmer and we both love country music, so pretty much every song that comes on that's about a good ol cou try boy is about him in my mind!

Thanks for the thread, ladies, too cute!
