How did everyone do with last week's challenges?

I've upped everything this week. On your weight days.. I recommend something easy for cardio like cranking the radio, grabbing a hairbrush and pretending you're Katy Perry . you just want to get your heart pumping.

I did not double the 60 minute Cardio from last week ecause honestly, 2 hours is a lot in a day.


Water goal: Some say 6x8oz glasses. Some say 8x8oz. I go buy the.. take your body weight divide it by two.. that's the number of oz you'd drink.
eg: I weigh 216 so I would need 108oz.




Monday August 19

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal: 20 minute cardio/40 minute cardio/60 minute cardio


Tuesday August 20

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal:
option 1: 10reps x 4 sets pushups (modified: 5reps x 8 sets)
-or-
option 2: 10reps x 4 sets horizontal dumbbell chest press

AND 60 squats (break these up as needed
AND 15 minutes Cardio

Wednesday August 21

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal: 20 minute cardio/40 minute cardio/60 minute cardio

Thursday August 22

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal:
option 1: 10reps x 4 sets pushups (modified: 5reps x 8 sets)
-or-
option 2: 10reps x 4 sets tricep kickback

AND 60 squats (break these up as needed
AND 15 minutes Cardio

Friday August 23

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal: 20 minute cardio/40 minute cardio/60 minute cardio

Saturday August 24

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal:
option 1: 10reps x 4 sets pushups (modified: 5reps x 8 sets)
-or-
option 2: 10reps x 4 sets horizontal dumbbell chest press

AND 60 squats (break these up as needed
AND 15 minutes Cardio

Sunday August 25th

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
LAZY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!



Exercise links:
Dumbell Chest press - you do not need a bench for this. You may choose your own weight amt based on what you have. You can also use resistance bands.

Tricep kickback - again, use your preferred weight amount or a resistance band (I find a band doesn't work well for this one).

I know it's not much, but hey it's a start. I'm down 1 pound. Lol. I'm excited because I'm out of 50's and into the 40's.

Congrats!!! I went from 215.8 to 212.6 then bounced back up again... but I'm working on getting my plumbing working properly. Tomorrow I'm going at it hard...

Also considering those stupid FITwraps everyone seems to be using on facebook. My cousin has had some dramatic results... and it's so tempting.

I'm going to start posting daily in my journal and including the fitness challenge..to keep me accountable . Just finished my first workout with c25k program!
