Really! I get anxious around O time/post O, and I end up having so many questions.

Is is very inaccurate to take a vaginal temp during your cycle when you are temping orally? I have a cold, I'm really congested and I think it's throwing off my temping (breathing through my mouth too).

I got 97.8 this a.m. orally. I have 2 of the same thermometer so I took a vaginal temp - it was 98.1.

It could just be a fallback rise, too, right?? -- auugggh I need to stop obsessing over one temp!!! I'm waiting for FF to confirm O, but I'd bet my running shoes that it was Sunday.

P.S. Occasionally I read stuff on Baby Center, and OMG are some of those girls mean! They are so snarky with their answers. It makes me very thankful that everyone here is kind and not nasty Bee's with Itches.<3

Girl, you and I both worry that when O times comes we post too much. But I don't think you do. And that's what it's all about right.... Sorry your frustrated with temping...

And yea sometimes I google certain things and other forums pop up and yea some ladies are so sarcastic and mean..... funny how the nicer milder ladies must gravitate to this site

I'm sorry you are sick.

temps in different parts of your body will reflect differently. The most accurate place to temp is vaginally. But if you change it up during a chart, it will cause some troubles. I'd use your normal temp, mark somewhere that you're sick.

And try not to stress sweetie!!! A single temp means Nada. You can always go back and discard temps you know were wonky if it causes issues for you later I am the queen of that. LOL

Lol. I felt the same way about my post. Thinking to myself "I bet these ladies are really tired of me by now" and I think about staying away for awhile. But I just can't. Sorry. You ladies are so helpful and know what I'm going through. Everyone else around me have kids. Unplanned kids at that and I wouldn't be able to ask them any of this.
So thank you soo much. All of you.

everything Ashley said! I would stick with the oral temp as switching in the middle may just cause more confusion since the temps arent really comparable. Like she said - one temp is not too much to worry about since we are looking at the over all trend. Even if FF doesnt get it we can always dive back into your chart and analyze

Oh and I totally agree about the other sites. . . I joined baby center just because they have a specific molar pregnancy board and thought I would supplement. . .I had to leave. They were SOOO mean and acted like I was such an idiot. . . it is hard to believe how terrible they are to each other. I love my JM ladies

Ashley & Elle - I'd stick with your normal oral temp, using on vaginal temp randomly in the middle of your cycle will make it wonky. Plus, like they said, one temp doesnt mean anything. If it looks off later on you can discard it!

I've never been on the other sites but if theyre as bad as you say, ill avoid them!
