Do you find people often speak before thinking in regards to thinks like ttc or miscarriages? More often than not yes they do. In regards to my miscarriages I have gotten "Well it is for the best something was wrong with it" a lot and things like "What is a D&C they just clean you out right?" with hand gestures and all. . . because that is how I want to think of it so thanks for that picture. There are many many many more. . .
Have you ever been guilty of saying something you now know is thoughtless (don't worry, we've all done it), what was it? I still feel bad about the time my friend told me her baby name. . . I even do like it but my response was thoughtless and rude it just popped out my big mouth got the best of me.
If you could give one piece of advice to tell the world about what to say to people regarding their ttc life.. what would it be? Umm NOTHING. . . unless they bring it up say nothing. Not "so when are you 2 having kids" or "you 2 better hurry up clocks ticking" or anything of the sort. If they bring it up to you then just have a real conversation without saying "just relax it will happen" or "quit trying and get drunk".
Do you find people often speak before thinking in regards to thinks like ttc or miscarriages? Yes! My MIL said "it was meant to be" when I told her about my miscarriage. It really upset me, but I held my tongue.
Have you ever been guilty of saying something you now know is thoughtless (don't worry, we've all done it), what was it? Before we were TTC, I know I've asked other people if they are going to have kids. I just want to go back in time and kick my earlier self.
If you could give one piece of advice to tell the world about what to say to people regarding their ttc life.. what would it be? I think it's best not to ever ask about it. If the person wants to share, they will.
