First off, Happy Turkey day to my US peeps! Don't eat too much.

Second off... has anything happened this year that goes above and beyond that which you'd usually be thankful for?

Nope.. 2013 sucked just as much as 2012, 2011, and 2010 for us.

Happy thanksgiving to all my American friends
Swear you guys chose a different day just to stand out :-P

Even though I'm not American... I am thankful.

I'm thankful that today on the US thanksgiving... My black lab Tucker (love of my life), is 26 weeks seizure free.
It's his miracle... He used to seize 4-5 times a week... For 12 hours straight.
He still does seize that long when he does... His brain doesn't have a stop "button", so Valium is mandatory to stop his seizures

But!!!! I am so incredibly thankful for 26 weeks!

2013 has sucked for me as well. I lost my grandmother who was the glue in our family. I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and messed up my knee so I can no longer run. We got his with a lawsuit and almost lost everything. Nothing good happen this year.
Oh and to top it all off, hubby was kind enough to get breakfast for us this morning since our kitchen floor is torn apart. I'm not a fast food person and don't eat greasy food, but thankful for the BurgerKing he brought home. Not even 15 minutes later, I sharted! Then my cat pushed over the cat food tin from the counter, and now there is about 15 pound of cat food all over the kitchen and dining room...

Really hoping 2014 is better. Still hoping we have a baby in 2014. I'm thankful that we decided to TTC now instead of waiting until I was 32 like my original plan. I think it would complicate things more.
I'm thankful my doctors found the right meds to stop my seizures.
I'm thankful I have such a wonderful Hubby
I'm thankful for this board and all of you on here!

Thank you Jenn. That diagnosis and my 28th birthday this year is why we started TTC now. Sometimes I feel like I'm falling apart. I have a gut feeling it's now or never when it comes to having children. It seams like every year something is added to the list of things wrong with me. Friends joke and say I'm falling apart. It was funny a few years ago, but now that the list has gotten longer, it's started to scare me.

Oh no

That added stress doesn't help when trying TTC.

I'm so sorry life has dealt you such a poopy card, it's always the greatest people who get the crappy hand

But you can overcome it.. Can tell you're strong
