I've been using the Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test for several months and not had a problem until now. I started testing when I was supposed to and on Tuesday I got a blinking smiley face that means high fertility. I've continued to test every morning and every day since Tuesday I've had the blinking smiley face. I normally O on CD 15-17 and would have thought I had ovulated by now since for the last few days I had cramps and that usually means I'm O'ing. We have BD'd a lot this week, Sun, Tues, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday so I would hope that would be enough. It's just frustrating that I haven't gotten a static smiley face yet and not sure if I even will. Has this happened to anyone else?

I used them last cycle (CB advanced digital) and I liked them although it is super confusing and expensive. I normally would have at most 3-4 days of flashing smiley then I would get the solid smiley. I also used the wondfo's along with them just to double check. This cycle I skipped out on them and just using regulars bc it's Christmas time and too expensive plus I feel like I'm over thinking everything and want to try to chill about it lol

OPKs really can be frustrating. Like everything else with TTC there are so many factors that go into it all. I think the link Ashley shared explains it pretty well. No static smiley does not necessarily mean that you didn't O. It does sound like you got plenty of BDing in just in case. I would probably keep that up just to cover your bases. Fx for you!
