Do you live where you want to live in 5 years? Forever? We are wanting to buy the land & house across the road from where we live on my in-law's ranch, but the man won't give us a price, just teases us & says he wants to sell it... we want to have land of our own soon, within 5 years but hopefully MUCH sooner, but are having trouble deciding where to go. We would be 100% happy to live in our tiny community forever, but land doesn't sell very often so it is very difficult to buy any here. The land across the road would be PERFECT- the kids could walk to BOTH sets of grandparents houses!!! But we are also keeping the option of moving elsewhere open... Alaska, North Dakota, Texas, who knows? lol

We are in our forever state.. but not our forever home. DH travels for work, and as long as he's doing that there's no reason for us to keep multiple residences.

We are currently looking for a new house We love our place but it is not really a great place to raise kids so we have been looking for quite a while now in some neighborhoods. We are just waiting for the right thing to come on the market.

Thank you *Kiliki* for the amazing siggy!!

Expecting our first baby August 25th, 2014!!!

For sure not - DH is in grad school, and I'm sure once he graduates we will be moving somewhere else. Also, renting an apartment in NYC is for the birds But it's doing it's job now!

We are in our forever city, but looking to build our forever home next year. Have the house and builder already decided, but looking for a nice lot and want to pay down some bills first. :-)

I am pretty sure that we will stay in this house for a pretty long time. It used to be DH's parents' house and they gave us a really good price on it. Parts of it are a bit outdated, but we are fixing it up as we go, and all our parents are helping us, which is nice. I like living right in town, and I like being close to both sets of our parents. My parents only live about nine miles away and DH's are only about two miles away.

Who can say for sure... I love our place but its not close to where I work and I think I am pretty much comitted to retiring from this job... DH likes our place because it's 15 minutes from his job... we can't get closer to my job without getting farther from his. Oh well, it's a good house for us.

~Amy. Anxiously awaiting our first.

Yes and no We live in our "forever" home until DH retires and any possible kids we have move out! LOL! After that, we would live to move to a bigger city and smaller home. But until then, we have our home.
