a doctors appointment? I tested Tues with a neg, wed with a slight pos, and saturday with a BFP. When should I call my doc to schedule an appointment? I was thinking next week when school was all over on a day that Jason could go with me.

Congrats!

I would schedule an appointment as soon as possible because it can take awhile to get in to see your doc. Wishing you a safe, happy, healthy 9 mths and baby!

I agree - call now to schedule - you'll be surprised how long it will take you to get in. My niece (who had her baby on 4/4) had to wait a month! (They got in her early for a bloodtest to confirm preganancy, but she had to wait 30 days to see the doctor). A friend of mine on another message board got a BFP on 4/8, she was able to get a blood test on 4/12, has a pre-natel appointment today and sees her doctor on 5/3! So don't wait to schedule - you can still schedule it for a day Jason can go with you.

We have an appointment on May 11th. Is he allowed to come back with me for the first exam? I want him with me for all of the appointments. I think that's important for him to know what's going on, plus I dont have a very good memory

Congrats! I don't think that is a problem (I don't have any experience - yet), but I think it is pretty standard now for the dad-to-be to come to the appointments.

Congrats!!! Sure he should be allowed back with you. And if they say no I would high tail it out of there and find another doctor. I agree dad-to-be should go with you too - if it's possible. Dh came to all my appointments with me but most women came alone. Good luck.
