I took my hpt about an hour ago aaaaaand.........I got BFP!!!!!!

The line was definitely there this time. Much darker, it was a REAL line! I am so excited girls! I really thought it would be a BFN (im so negative).

I just have a question though....does it matter which dr (gyn. or pcp) you call to get a blood test? I think I'm gonna call my pcp because she's much closer. That's fine, right? Then I'll call my ob/gyn after i get the results of the blood test. How's that?? If anyone has any advice, let me know. I don't want to do anything wrong. Thanks!

I'm just so excited, I'm shaking! Now I have to go to work (i'm a nanny). I don't have a computer there, so I'll have to check this when I get home tonight (arund 6pm) Alright girls, I have some calls to make today. Adios!

Thanks again for all your help girls!!!

It doesn't matter what Dr you call. I would call your OBGYN ASAP, so you can get an appointment. Alot of times they are so booked that it may take a while to get in. Once you get that appointment, you'll have blood drawn, blood pressure, possible pap smear, if more then a year since your last appointment, and weight and height measurement. Congrats on your BFP!

make sure when you call for an appointment that you tell them you are pregnant. I know a lot of women, including myself called for an appointment and they thought it was for a regular exam and scheduled me for a month away. If they know you are preg. they will schedule it much closer, usually within the week. Its important to get in there early. Congrats!!!
