Well here's my story..... I thought that I was on a 45 day cycle, and today was supposed to be the Big O. So yesterday I was having spotting, that was a dark rusty brown colour, and I was worried about it. This morning I wake up and who's here to visit AF!!!!!

I was having really hard and painful cramps 2 days before. But with the Endo, I have wicked cramps like that. I had my last shot of depo in March, and got my period back by about August. And it's been between 40 - 45 days of cycle. But this one for some reason decided to be a "regular" cycle of 28 days. Has this ever happened to anyone before? I was charting for the past 2 weeks, and everything was fairly normal, only one degree difference, nothing major.... so I'm very, very confused.

Help please????

You just had an anovulatory cycle (unless you O'd before you started charting). And sadly, after getting off Depo, that is VERY common to deal with a couple times. Same goes for the funky-length cycles. Depo takes a long time to get out of some women's systems.

Your body may be trying to get back to normal from being off Depo. It isn't uncommon to have an annovulatory cycle or two when coming off BC. Luckily it is over and you have a shot at a brand new cycle! Good luck

Thanks Ladies!

I couldn't believe it waking up and was like... oh hello! So now do I start counting my cycle from Sunday now since that went the spotting started? I only started charting a couple of weeks ago, and from what I could tell my temperature was all the same, so I don't believe that I O'd, even though on my schedule that I thought that I was on, I wasn't supposed to O until this weekend coming up. I just hope that AF is gone by Friday night, cause the BF is wisking me away for the weekend.... no idea where I'm going, but we are going!

Cheers!

Day one of your cycle is the first day of actually bleeding, not spotting. Hope that helps.

Well Sunday it was the dark brownish red colour, and light, but heavier than spotting. So I guess that's day one?

CD 1 is the first day you need a pad or tampon. Even if it's very heavy spotting, would it have bled through your underwear by the end of the day? If so it's CD 1. If it would have just heavily stained your underwear, it's not.

It's the first day you bleed red.
Are you using fertility friend? It will calculate day for you as well, when you enter the type of menses you are having... light, medium, heavy AF or spotting....
And congrats for getting over that cycle quickly ad yay for moving onto a new cycle!!
Good luck launching that eggie! Hope you catch it this month!
