[FONT=Geneva][COLOR=blue]Hi Everyone. This site was recommended to me by a nurse, and so far its great. My husband and I have been trying to conceive our first child for the last 6 months, so far no luck. We are so anxious to finally have our baby. We are only 21, but we have dreamed of a family since we got married last year, and have talked about it for the last 2 years. I am going to start charting my BBT, because my cervical mucus is not cooperative Well that may by a little too much info, but if anyone has any advice about what common mistakes there are while bbting, I would be happy to hear them...
Welcome to JM and TTC #1. I have been charting for about 4 cycles now, personally I find it very helpful to know where I am in my cycle.
I am sure you know the basics about BBTing: take you temp at the same time everyday, when you first get up (before doing anything), etc... My advice would be to remember that the goal of charting to see an overall pattern - sometimes we tend to get stressed over an individual temperature and not look at the whole picture. There are various reasons why one temp may spike upwards or downwards and many are not hormonal (enviroment, clothes, etc...).
If you have any questions while charting - just let us know. Fertility Friend (www.fertilityfriend.com) is a great place to chart you information - that way if you have a question about your chart, you can always provide us a link to look at it to help you.
