OKAAAAAAAAAAAAY

I have had such we can say gas pain like cramping.

crap is NOT fun.

Mum said it may be because the iron content is higher then usual food intake for a day.

If you have a hard time taking the prenatal vitamins you've gotta try Promise Stages prenatal/preconception vitamins in stage 1. They vitamins have an easy to digest iron and folic acid so it doesn't hurt your stomach. Also, they come in 3 different stages depending on your trimester.
Anyway, I have a hard time with iron content in pills but have loved these. They are small too!

Where would one find the Promise Stages??? My iron is low, but think I would have a hard time digesting a regular prenatal vitamin.

I got them online from Biotegrity.com They aren't too expensive either. Just do a search if you can't find them.

I buy folic acid from walmart and Walgreens prenatal. I don't get any nausea.

I use the Walgreens prenatal and take them with a meal and have not gotten sick from them. I used to have problems with other prenatals making me feel like I was going to throw up or constipated, but not these.

I got Spring Valley Pre Natal from Walmart, but it doesn't cause me any trouble except that it's too big to swallow.
Just to mention, one should not take any medicine with empty stomach unless your doctor suggests you otherwise.
