Hi, This our first cycle for TTC #1. I'm just curious to know general body signals while we ovulate. I'm using OPK and fertility microscope. I'm not very comfortable in temping and locating cervix. Are there any prominent signs which we will notice while ovulating? Today is day 14 of my cycle.
Some ladies (but not all) can actually feel twinges when the ovulate. Cervical fluid is another good sign signalling impending ovulation. And unless you don't get alot, you don't need to check up in your cervix to see what is like - you can often just check when you go to the bathroom. Often when it is the fertile egg white kind (the most desirable) you can see it on your TP when you wipe (sorry if TMI).
Of course all of these signal impending ovulation but do not confirm it. There are two ways to confirm you O'd - one is by ultrasound (not cost effective), the other is by charting your temperature. Temperature charting by the way cannot predict ovulation, but can confirm you did (do to the thermal shift).
