Hi ladies!

DF has agreed to start TTW in December so now I'm just trying to figure out what to do. Is there a special pre-pregnancy diet?

I should O around December 23 so hopefully we'll be expecting an October bundel of joy!

I've no idea of a special diet, or anything. Just wanted to wish you luck.

BTW, I love you ticker. LOL, counting down to the 2WW. I never look foward to the 2WW. *BABYDUST*

I too was very excited when my husband said we could start trying (we started in August)... I thought for sure I knew when I ovulated... turns out I was wrong (I basically just used the ovulation calculators)... I would suggest (this is just my opinion), possibly starting now to chart your temperatures (take your temp before you even get out of bed)... when you see a small dip, and then a sharp rise in temps, that means that you probably ovulated. You could even maybe start using an OPK (just to double check).

I wish I would have done this sooner... that way I would have possibly NOT been trying for the third time. Who knows though. Another suggestion... BD every other day starting on CD 10-20. That's what my doc. said and my friend's doc said (she's pregnant now, and she did that)... we did it that way this month... I'm crossing my fingers.

Good luck!!!

Yeah! We are also TTC! I'm not sure about a diet, but I know my Dr. told me to take vitamins especially ones with Folic acid in them. Also she said just to eat your fruits and veggies and excercise! I hope it all goes well for you!!!

THANK YOU for all the sweet comments! I have been using the FAM for TTA since August 2004, so I have the advantage of knowing how my body works. I usualy O on cd 13, and my avg. LP is 13 days long. Here the link to my charts http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/4cbb0

The TTW in my count down ticker stands for Trying To Whatever. We're not really trying, but we're not preventing either so the ladies on Ovusoft call it TTW.

I am sorry to hear of your loss... best of luck, and babydust all around. My DH & I are TTC in November, but some advice I can give you is to go to your DR. for a pre-conception exams. Mine included a full physical, blood tests & she answered any questions I might have. As well, she told me to start taking Folic Acid, and when the blood tests came back it showed that I was minorly anemic, so I had to start taking Iron Supplements.
It's worth it to see your dr before you get pregnant... make sure you're completely healthy before you bring someone else into the world.
Keep us posted!
