So we met with one of the three agencies we are looking into tonight. We liked them. There was no spark there though. Not sure if that is something I made up in my head, but I just pictured us knowing right away that it was the place for us to be. We'll see how things go. Regardless, one of their rules is that you have to be married for at least three years before you can even apply. Well, Brian and I reach that mark in August. I'm not sure I really want to wait that long to really get started...
We have one other agency in our town we are meeting with in the next couple of weeks, and there is one more out of town that we are still up in the air with. We really would like an agency that is local that we would be able to stop in and ask questions if we need to. Also there is a greater chance that our birthmom would be from this area as well, which would make an open adoption much easier.
