on my states adoption site there was a 7 yr old boy named Caden...there was just something about him that called out to me. I begged dh to consider taking in an older boy but he wouldnt budge

i checked the website just now and Caden's picture has been removed which means he was matched with a family. I know that is an amazing blessing for him..but i still feel sad like I missed out.. He could of been an amazing match for our family.

I hope he does great in his forever family

awww, I know. Its hard watching/wanting another child go to someone else when you know you'd be a great parent to him/her. I've been talking for two weeks now about wanting a baby from Haiti, guess he/she was meant for someone else.

I've been thinking the same thing about a baby from Haiti. It breaks my heart to see what those babies are going through.

if it weren't so hard to start and pay for an international adoption, I'd have one of those poor babies here in a heartbeat, even if they were my 5th children

I know what you mean. I keep checking on the MN waiting children website and it's so hard to see those smiling faces and not think that we would be wonderful parents to them.

I don't even look at any of those sites because I just want to take them all home

I've looked as well ~ just in general & I thought I was the only one who felt The first time I looked, I teared up, was totally not expecting that at all
