So DH and I are at a point now where the next step for us is either IVF or Adoption. We have been talking about adoption because with IVF there is no guarantee and it is so expensive. So I am starting to look into adoption more and I just don't know where to start. If anyone has some suggestions for me as to where to begin that would be great!

Congrats on taking a big step towards starting your family! It's such an exciting process.

When we were first starting to look into adoption I went out and bought some books, one being "Idiot's Guide to Adoption"... and it was very insightful. It basically goes through all the ins and outs of every kind of adoption possible. Since then, I've done my fair share of research online. There are LOTS of websites out there for people to go to, i went to the adoption forum on JM and used their links quite a bit. The board is slow, but if you ask a question someone will pipe up in a few days.

The biggest step is deciding what kind of adoption you want to do. Once we had that figured out, everything else has kind of fallen into place.
