My friend called me yesterday asking if I knew anyone that would like to adopt a white baby girl that will be born in Aug. My friend has adopted 3 kids and is in many adoption groups where she saw this post.

It's a white baby girl in Mobile Alabama. Mom has been in a methadone clinic for the pregnancy. If you are interested in this little girl PM me and I'll send on the info I have.

We thought about it, but DH didn't think he could do a 3 month old and newborn.

I was tempted as well, and read the email about a million times. I just don't think that DH and I could afford to be away from home for that long. We'd want/need to be there while the baby was in the NICU. We also really want an open adoption if at all possible.
