Tommorow Jay has a dentist appt. They never go well. It makes me anxious and Jay as well when he figures out what is going to happen. I am not sure how typical children do with the dentist but when you throw a kid into the mix that has sensory issues in there mouth it rarely goes well. Jay's tss will be coming so hopefully that will help or I may need a strong drink afterwards.

Good luck, I hope the appointment goes better than you're expecting. My kids have a hard time and they don't have sensory issues, so I can't imagine how hard that is for you guys.

Well good luck when you do go.
Can you give him a benedryl before you go to relax him? My dentist always gives my kids the gas so they are cool with it.

i'm not sure what area you are in but i know many states have a dental clinic for children and adults with special needs. You can check with your states DMR/DDD (or what ever acronym they use there ) and see if they have it.

Good luck with the appointment.

They do but his insurance does not cover them. Jay was upset because we did not go. I am not sure if forgot what it is like at the dentist or he is getting over that fear.
