Last week Rucca seemed so sick I thought I was going to have to actually put her down. Turns out she was just having a bad day. But in the midst of my mental breakdown at the thought of losing my Roo, DH agreed to my BFF that he would let me have one of her new puppies.
So now my RooRoo is alive AND tonight I got a new puppy! We named her Nuala. (Pronounced Noo-la)

She's too young. The mom is too old (BFF thought she was spayed) and wasn't doing a good job with the puppies. She wouldn't nurse them at first, and 4 of the 10 died. The pups are a month old now and have been part bottle fed and part nursed by mom, but the mom is starting to ignore them again. So we figured if she's not going to do her job of teaching the puppies how to behave in a pack anyway, it wouldn't be doing any more damage for me to take mine. She's a month old, and we'll be working on getting her off a bottle and onto puppy food over the next couple weeks. When she's bigger, Diesel and Rucca will teach her pack order. For now, it's just lots of luvs and snuggles! She's so presh.

I actually wanted a different one whose markings I liked better, but this is the puppy BFF's son wanted me to get because she's his favorite and wants to be able to see her as she grows up. lol

Timmy is totally smitten. He wanted Nuala to sleep in his bed tonight and we said no. He was so worried, he looked at me pleadingly and asked if he would get to pet her before school in the morning. lmao we had to explain that she's going to be here for a long dern time.

Alrighty, I've rambled enough. Here she is. Mom is an American Bulldog. Dunno who dad is, but probably some other bully breed because this girl is all bully!

lmao, no way. I'm not that nutty yet.
Besides, she's going to be a brute. I'm expecting her to make it to at least 60 lbs, I'm not carrying that around strapped to me.

Grats on the new pup and having the other one still alive!

I need at least the "medium" frontpack carrier. Kiddo and doggy weigh almost the same, and I still wear kiddo..
