I just registered for my classes next semester, and thankfully I looked at what books I would need before the class started, because I ended up having to drop a class because the amount of books I'd need to read was insane. I am still enrolled in a class that has a ton of books, but I at least like the books that we will be reading. It will just take a lot of dedication to keep up with the work.

So the books I will be reading in one class are:
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
The Simarillion
Saving the Appearances, A study in Idoltry
A Barfield Reader
Out of the Silent Planet
Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold

Yewoch. That's a hell of a lot of books to read for one class! The other class I was going to take had Crime and Punishment, War and Peace, and others, which I just knew coupled with the other class there was no way I could keep up with the required reading. As it is now, I'm going to be reading up on the books before the semester starts because I want to at least have a foundation for them before we discuss them. I'm also ashamed to have loved LOTR and only have read the Fellowship of the Ring **hangs head in shame**

The other class I will be taking is Anthropological Linguistics, which sounds like a really neat class

Anyone taking any college courses next semeester?

Yeah, I'm not envious of you at all haha!

Right now I'm in Anatomy and Physiology II, blaaaahhhhh. Next semester I'll be taking Statistics, Microbiology, Fitness Maintenance, and Sculpting (haha). Not looking forward to any of them except for sculpting, I heard the professor is hawt .

Your anthropology class sounds interesting, have you taken a sociology class yet? They're similar.

ETA: I'd rather give birth every day until the end of the semester than deal with a&p classes ever again.

Yup. Sociology was one of my social sciences credits, and it was a really fun class. I loved the professor, he was such a geek and passionate about the subject, it was fun to take a class taught by him. It sounds like the class is pretty much a cross between sociology and psycholinguistics, which was also a really kickass class that I did really well in, despite linguistics busting my *** and being really hard, lol.
