Who is studying? Or previously did?

What did you study?

I start next month and I'm so nervous. I'm getting my Bachelors of Applied Social Science. My goal is to become a drug and alcohol conselor. I'm extremely excited but very nervous at the same time.

It's 3 years full time.

How long was yours?

I did two years at a major University. hated every second of it. My major was english, but I had so many science courses because i really wanted to be in a science major... alas, didn't earn the math grade in my senior year and got shafted.

i'd like to go back, but i'm thinking something more technical. Like a lab tech, or an ultrasound tech. but again, alas, they're not high in demand here.

I school, but then again, I'm a teacher!

I have a BA in French & Earth Science and an MA in the Art of Education.

Are you going full time or working full time and going to school? IMO, there's a big difference in the amount of stress between the two.

I am so loving school right now. Right now I'm officially registered in the healthcare management program, but a lot of the classes are the same for that, lab tech, OR tech, and medical assisting, so I'm trying to figure out which way I want to go. I think eventually I want to be an RN but I'd have to switch schools for that because right year I'm just at a community college.
I'm only taking one or two courses at a time (two in fall and spring, but only 1 during summer since it was a short session) and even with all the other stuff I have to get done I have plenty of time for my courses. Well, I'm 100% online right now, so that helps, not having to commute to a campus.
But whatever. I'm sure you'll really enjoy school. It's not really intimidating once you get going and "find yer groove."
Good luck!

I got my BS in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology 5 years ago and I work at a university now (not in a field related to my major though). Since I've been working here I took classes towards a 2nd BS in Psychology and I'm a couple classes away from that, but lost interest in it a few years ago. I've also taken the first couple classes towards a Masters in Distance Education, but haven't picked that up since I got pregnant (almost 2 years ago).

I got my associates in paralegal studies and now I'm going for my BA in political science. I have roughly two years left since I just started up again last semester. I'm at a cross roads of loving what I'm learning but hating all the school and papers stuff. Not sure if I'm willing to finish or not.

I am in Nursing School. We had the summer off and I start back on the 23rd. I will be done Dec 2012 (about a week before the world is supposed to end. Poop). Then I'll probably wait about 6 months and go back for my Bachelors.

My program is 2 years full-time with summers off. I go to school 3 to 4 days a week and then work 1 day. Its hard as a single mom, but I'm sick of living paycheck to paycheck. I want my DD to have everything and not have to be restricted cause I'm broke.

I'm studying at the University of Queensland (in Australia) my course is 4 years fulltime. I am doing a Bachelor of Arts (Ancient History/Modern History & English) dualled with a Bachelor of Education (secondary).

So yes, studying to be a history and english high school teacher. I've done almost a bit over a year... once this semester is done. (I deferred a semester last year)

Good luck with expanding your knowledge

I have not done any schooling since high school, mostly because I don't have any interest in anything.

You're interested in your critters. Why don't you go for something in zoology?
