Well we got the results of DH's SA today. It is what we thought it would be. He has a low count and slightly low motility. Once we finish my testing he may set up an appointment with a urologist to see if there is anything that can be done. He had a pretty bad karate injury when he was 12 that may have scarred up a spermatocord, so that may be able to be fixed.

Now we just have my tests to figure out. I am going to have progesterone levels checked on CD 24 this cycle (April 15th) to check for a LP defect. At some point I am going to have a fasting insulin level done to look for insulin resistance. I don't have any classic signs, but it runs in my family. Then next cycle I will have an HSG on CD9-11, whatever day works out.

I'm sorry you didn't get better news from your DH's SA.... hopefully the urologist will be able to help him though! I am praying for you, that everything come back normal and that this is the only "kink" that you find! Good Luck and KUP!

Oh boy! Hope they can figure out how to increase his sperm count. Maybe IUI? I'm scared my DH has low sperm problems too.
Hang in there!

Im really sorry to hear about that. But dont let it get you down! My DH has low sperm count as well. and we managed to have 3 children, including all my problems.

I found that if DH drank orange juice or grapefruit juice it seemed to help..

I hope it all works out for you!

Thanks for the tip. He already drinks some OJ, but I will make sure he keeps it up. I also already have him a daily multivitamin (it is kinda cute, at first he refused to take the "horse pills", but now if I haven't given it to him before we leave in the morning he starts looking for his vitamin and that was before we got the results). I don't know about the grapefruit juice though. He has started drinking V8 recently, so that gives other vitamins and anti-oxidants.
