I totally forgot to post about this yesterday. I called my OB's office yesterday and first off I felt happy because when I told the receptionist my name she said "How are you sweetie? We haven't seen you in awhile." I dunno why but that just made me feel good to think she cared.
So I told her I would like to come in for an annual and to talk to the dr about how trying to conceive is going. I am set to go in on April 15! I love how I don't have to wait forever to see my dr! I should be around CD 9-10 on that date so that's perfect. AF will have already left but I won't have started BDing like crazy yet.

Now I just have to think of what all I want to ask her. I guess the main thing is if she thinks I should have any tests done at this point, and if not, then when I should.

For those who have had testing done, did you do it through your OB/GYN or through an RE?

Also do you think it makes any difference to doctors in general that we have been trying to have a baby since June, but because of the miscarriage, this time around has only been since October? I'm not saying I have to have testing RIGHT NOW, but I do think I would want something done before October.

That's awesome. Glad you have an appt. Hope it goes well. Well the first OB/GYN I saw back in August didn't do any testing. She just said "you're young. you'll get pregnant. don't think about it. it'll happen when you least expect it. have sex every other day and you'll be back next month pregnant." hmmm tried it and it didn't work. (she couldn't read or understand a BBT chart either) so then in January we saw the RE....he did some of the basic hormonal testing and a basic SA on DH but wouldn't treat me. So that's why we're seeing the new OB/GYN Monday. Hopefully this one will do more testing and treat me. I'll let you know Monday what happens! Good luck!!!

Wierd! Shannon, I called yesterday to make mine too. Mine's not until May 7 though. Looks like we were thinking alike yesterday! Too funny! I hope she gives you some insight as to what to do next. G/L

Thanks ladies and best of luck to both of you at your appointments!

My OB seems pretty knowledgeable so I hope she can help.

Thats awesome news. Its always nice when someone picks up the phone and just wants to know how your doing. I cant wait till you go and let us all in on what they say!! I went to my OB/GYN for tests etc. And hes the only one that i really trust. Reason being, he delivered me at birth!! My mom really liked and still does like him.
I really hope you get the answers you need!

Good luck sweetie, i cant wait to hear what they have to say!!
