Thanks Clare! Awwww sorry you're allergic, we didn't get him from a shelter, as they didn't have any yorkies.

I love him. Yorkies are the best!!! (Ok maybe I truly believe Jack Russells are the best, but Yorkies are a close second. And they are the best of the non-shedders). He is so cute. How old is he? He looks pretty big, like 12-16 weeks or older.

He is sooooo cute!!! I love Jack Russells too but orignally I wanted a Yorkie but fell in with my jack (Cujo)! Have fun and spend as much time with him as possible. I spent 24/7 with Cujo when he was a baby till about 6 months old and he is such a great dog b/c of the time DH and I put into him!

Omg Lindsey he is so cute!! I can't wait to meet the little guy. I also love the name you gave him I am so happy you got him. Did you get him at the pet shop in Pismo?
He was born the same day as my black dog. Just a different year

Thanks ladies!!
Jamie that's too funny they share a bday. Glad you like his name I actually got him from the same store as Pismo but the other location. Pismo didn't have any cute ones.

Oh please tell me you didn't buy him from a pet shop, I thought you were going to a yorkie breeder. Those are just places for the puppy mills to sell their pups. Make sure you take him to the vet ASAP to get at least a fecal check and a full exam (unless he is due for his next booster). Coccidia and giardia are extremely common intestinal parasites in pet shop pups and can be fatal if left untreated in young pups.
Sorry on my other forum (vet forum) we have a thread going right now "You know you are a vet if..." And one of the posts said ... "you cringe when a friend or relative tells you they just bought a pet from a pet store. "

I was going to say if you bought from a pet store... take the pup to the vet ASAP and get everything checked out. I cringe at someone say "I bought a pup from a pet store"
what Carmela say. My aunt warned me about pet stores and pet mills. She's a former Vet grad from Purdue University.
I always encourage people to adopt from animal shelter and humane society.
