Well I had my first OB/GYN END. Appointment this morning. It went well. My husband Mike came with me and we met with out Dr. who was really nice. Right now I am on CD24 so we really couldnt do much today but our plan for right now is to get an ultrasound done on CD3 next cylce and possibly some more blood work, and then start Clomid and Ovidrel shots. I am kind of scared about the shots (I dont do well with needles) but I think it is well worth it. Is anyone else on Clomid? Or no any one that is? What do they/you think of it?
They also suggested that I have an HSB done too. I am kind of scared about that also, but its kind of a precaution because I have some symptoms of possibly having PCOS. I have heard it can be quite painful? Has anyone had one done? But as of right now we found out pretty much what we already knew, I am not Ovulating. So I am hoping that my "flo" comes soon so that I can start on Clomid and hopefully get some good results.
Thanks for all of the support girls!! I am already addicted to this place! haha

I'm glad the dr has a plan of action for you to follow. I hope the Clomid will give you just the "boost" you need.

I'm glad there is a plan in action. Good luck. I'm not on clomid and haven't had an hsg, so can't help you about those.

Good Luck!!! I have to get an HSG test done as well, on my next cycle and have heard the same thing. I don't like knowing I am having a procedure that's going to be painful. I can deal with it, once it happens, but it does make me anxious, because of the unknown.
I hope you get, just what is needed from the Clomid.
Keep us updated!!!

Well I'm glad that your appt went well and that you had your DH there for support! I don't have any experience with clomid, but I had an HSG last week and it was kind of like a pelvic.... which is no picnic as we all know.... when she injected the contrast, I did get very uncomfortable. It wasn't severe pain, but it was like bad menstrual cramps. (I forgot to take any Ibuprofen or anything before we left whcih probably would have helped). It subsided after a couple minutes.... and then I had cramps for probably a 1/2 hour after the fact. What I didn't expect was that I bled. When I went to the bathroom I passed a rather large blood clot.... *sorry TMI*.... I actually filled a small pad. I guess it's normal, but I've never been the patient, so I never knew about that part of it. I think I passed most of the "dye" the first day. The bleeding all but stopped.... within hours. All in all, it wasn't so bad. It was just the anxiety that was bad. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders after I had it done.

I have had the HSG and my advise is ask your OBGYN for one zanex and take 2 advil 30 mins before test and you should be fine! I never bled and never had any dye discharge (sorry TMI). I am on clomid 50 mg now, this is my first cycle and so far the only side effect I have is hot flashes. Good luck and KUP!

Sounds like a great plan! I hope the Clomid gives your ovaries the kickstart they need and you get pregnant quickly.

Wow at all the HSG's next cycle. Me too. I am on my first cycle of clomid now. I did seem to ovulate sooner than normal (I will have to see where my temps stay at, but I ovulated some time in the last few days CD14-16. Normal for me is ovulation on CD20-30) The only side effect I have noted is that I have had more heart burn and mildly upset intestinal tract than most cycles at ovulation time. My temps have also been on average higher than my normal pre-ovulatory numbers, so I don't know if that is because of the clomid or because I was traveling for a week and a half of the first half of this cycle.
I hope all the plans work and we get BFP explosions in these TTC for with issues boards.
