7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? I hope there are some things I do better as a parent, but they were in general good parents.

5. Is there just 1 day out of the week your family just had a family day? Not really, we were always doing things as a family. My mom stayed at home with us and my dad usually worked 4 days a week at his practice.

6. Did your dad ever let you drive his car? Yes. I was in drivers ed when I was 14. I couldn't do my driving part of the class until I was 15 though. My instructor was amazed at my driving skills.

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? I'm sure I'll raise my children similarly as my parents did an amazing job with us. We're all happy in live, successful in our own ways, have a great relationship with my parents and love to be around family.

1. Do you get along with your parents/ siblings? Just my Mum, my parents divorced when i was 11. I have seen my Dad about 5 times since then. My brother and sister both see him regularly but he chose not to see me saying I was too much like my Mum.

2. Are you a mommys girl or a Daddys girl? Until my Dad left a was a Daddys girl and wouldnt go anywhere without him. Since the divorce I have become closer to my Mum.

3. What is your favorite memory as a child? Travelling with my whole family (Both sets of Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles and cousins) to Europe and camping every summer.

4. What placement are you in your siblings? oldest, middle, youngest? Im the oldest

5. Is there just 1 day out of the week your family just had a family day? Not really, I wish there had been. Me and Df try to keep Saturdays to ourselves so thats kind of our family day.

6. Did your dad ever let you drive his car? My mum refused to teach me to drive! She said there was no way i was driving her anywhere until i got my license. I had to pay for lessons.

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? I dont want to be anything like my parents, im not saying that my Mum did a bad job, she didn't she was amazing given the situation but I want to bring my children up in a stable, calm environment. Thats something i never had.

1. Do you get along with your parents/ siblings? Yes, I still haveoccational issues with my sister but for the most part we get along

2. Are you a Mommy's girl or a Daddy's girl? As a kid I was a Daddy's girl, but as an adult (and when I was a teen) I am closer to my mom

3. What is your favorite memory as a child? I don't know if I have a favorite, I have a lot of good childhood memories

4. What placement are you in your siblings? Oldest of two

5. Is there just 1 day out of the week your family just had a family day? Not anything set, my dad traveled for work a lot and mom stayed home sometimes, sometimes she worked. We spent most evenings together as a family, depending on who was home.

6. Did your dad ever let you drive his car?Yeah, Daddy had a Saab and it was the only stick shift we owned, so he tried to teach me how to drive it after I had my license driving an automatic. I never got the hang if it with his Saab though. DH ended up teaching me and now we only have stick shifts. My sister still can't drive a stick (my parents are not the best drivers, and they were not good driving teachers.)

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? I like most of the things they did. My sister and I are very different, but we are both successful well rounded adults. They did more of the "do as I say, not as I do" than I want to do. Plus my dad had some issues with alcohol when I was a teen and young adult, and my kids WILL NOT have to deal with that. But all in all I approve of and plan to copy their parenting style.

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? nope... My parents didn't have a good relationship, they finally divorced a few years ago after living apart for 4 years.. My dad was also an alcoholic so yeah don't want to be like them

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way?Yes and no. My parents are awesome and amazing but they are also to kind. Both my sister and i had the run of the house. My sister still does and she walks all over my mom and dad and gets WHATEVER she wants when she wants it. I will do almost everything the same however i want a little more respect.

6. Did your dad ever let you drive his car? no, my dad drove a truck, I'd have been scared to drive it! I learned to drive in my mom's minivan and then my parents bought me a used car

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? I think I will do a lot of things the same but I will change a few things. The main thing is that we didn't go to church and I'd like for my kids to grow up going to church.

5. Is there just 1 day out of the week your family just had a family day? When we were younger, we spent a lot of time together as a family- there wasn't one set day. Now, we have Sunday Family Dinner at my parents every week and we generally see eeveryone at random other times too.

6. Did your dad ever let you drive his car? Lots of times- when I was little, I used to shift gears for him, then he'd let me drive up and down our road cause it's very quiet and he'd be in the passenger seat laughing at me.

7. Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? I hope so. My brother and I were raised to respect each other as well as everyone around us and we've grown up to be smart, level-headed people. I hope that I can be as great of parents as mine are!

Do you think when you become parents, you will be the same way? sorta, DH has opened my eyes and my views on certain things, i.e. birth, vaccines, health insurance etc has changed, the complete opposite my parents. (I'm actually a lil worried of their response when they find out what we are planning to do and not do)
